ROBERTO SÁNCHEZ-CAMUS
Roberto received a BFA in NYC where he hails from and recently an MA Scenography from Central Saint Martins. A multi-media scenographer, Roberto’s work focuses on creating unique experiencial spaces by investigating the relationship between the individual, their environment, and the crossing of thresholds into liminal space.
He is a founding member of LOTOS collective in London and BLANK collective in New York.
Roberto produces, designs, and directs a variety of performances, video, installation, and film including: Tumor Foderato d’Infanzia in Teatro Garibaldi -Palermo, Prometheus Bound in Act Art 4 -London, Nomads of Alcatraz in Alcatraz Gallery -Austria, El Tiempo Indomito -Santiago de Chile.
Roberto won People’s Choice award for a New Years Parade London float 2006, a NYC Innovative Theatre Award for Best Production 2004, an OOBR Award for Best Production 2003, and was selected for the Cinekink Film Festival Best Video Short 2005.
